Right to Work Louisiana Shell Expansion Creates High-Paying Jobs

Shell is expanding in Right to Work Port Allen, Louisiana, in order to increase catalyst manufacturing. In order to cover the costs, the company is investing a total of $121.7 million toward the project. As a result, the will also 17 new high-paying jobs, where the average yearly salary will come to over $94,000. In addition, they will also expect to see 57 indirect jobs created as well.

“Shell Catalysts and Technologies has a more than 13-year history of operation at Port Allen that has provided jobs for over a decade and made the site a world-class catalyst manufacturing facility,” Elise H. Nowee, vice president of Shell Catalysts and Technologies, said in a statement. “The company’s investment is another testament of our commitment to the state of Louisiana as a prime location for doing business.”
