BandD Foods is a meat industry that’s growing in demand. In order to keep up with the new demand, they’re investing $15 million toward a new facility in Americus, Georgia. This will then serve as their headquarters for the entire eastern US. As a result of increased production, they’ll need to make about 100 new hires. This will mean new job opportunities in Sumter County.
