BandD Foods Chooses Right to Work Georgia For Eastern US Location

BandD Foods is a meat industry that’s growing in demand. In order to keep up with the new demand, they’re investing $15 million toward a new facility in Americus, Georgia. This will then serve as their headquarters for the entire eastern US. As a result of increased production, they’ll need to make about 100 new hires. This will mean new job opportunities in Sumter County.

From Area Development Magazine:

“I’m honored to welcome BandD Foods to Georgia. […] I’m grateful for the jobs this project will create for the hardworking Georgians in Sumter County and look forward to celebrating the new opportunities it will bring for the company and the region.” […]

“We’ve watched food purchasing trends change a great deal over the past several months, and our state’s pro-business environment has been critical to helping companies quickly expand to meet growing consumer demand. […] Home to more than one-third of the nation’s top food production companies, I’m confident that [they] will find long-term success in Georgia.”

“BandD Foods is a perfect fit for our Americus, Georgia, facility and community. […] We have an experienced workforce to fill the positions and will follow the company’s growth as they move forward. BandD Foods chose to invest in us. We will always stand behind them.”
