Bridgestone Americas’ Expansion: Another Win for RTW Texas

Bridgestone Americas will soon be expanding its manufacturing facility in Right to Work Abilene, Texas. In order to cover the cost, they are investing $60 million toward the project. This expansion will also mean the addition of 25 new jobs. So this is exciting economic news!

From Area Development Magazine:

“It says that the company believes in our operation in Abilene and Abilene believes in Bridgestone Bandag. […] We felt when the citizens of Abilene and the business community of Abilene sees positive things happening, particularly with large corporations like this, it ups the value of Abilene. You’ll see a lot of projects that spin off from this.â€
