Cardinal Glass Plans Right to Work Tennessee Expansion

Cardinal Glass is planning an expansion soon in Right to Work Church Hill, Tennessee. This will be made possible as a result of a federal infrastructure grant that will total $1.5 million. In addition, they will also create 75 new jobs. So this is an exciting economic development!

“They have been making improvements down there,†Forrester said of Cardinal, which currently employs nearly 550 people at a plant Cardinal purchased in 2021 from AGC.

“They’re making glass and they’re doing a really good job, but they had a water situation so we are upgrading lines,†Forrester said.

A release from the EDA said the increased capacity will allow for the Cardinal expansion “while enabling other businesses to locate in a region transitioning from a traditional coal economy.â€Â
