Former Letter Carriers Union Treasurer Indicted in Georgia

The U. S. Department of Labor Office of Labor-Management Standards, Atlanta-Nashville office, has investigated and indicted Janet Pilcher for embezzlement of union funds on February 28. 

Pilcher is the former Secretary-Treasurer of the National Association of Letter Carriers, is accused to embezzling $65,033.46 between October, 2014 and March, 2018 from Branch 536, National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC).

In February, Pilcher’s attorney waived arraignment and a formal indictment.  Pilcher pleaded not guilty and was released on her own recognizance.

NALC Branch 536 is located in Rome, Georgia.
