Former UAW Chairman Milton Thomas Pleads Guilty to Forgery

On March 5, 2021, Milton Thomas, former chairman of United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 890 in Morton Grove, Illinois, pled guilty to crimes of forgery. Immediately following this guilty plea, he was sentenced to probation along with a restraining order and more.

From the Department of Labor:

In the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, County Department, Criminal Division, Milton Thomas […] pleaded guilty to one count of forgery, in violation of 720 ILCS 5/17-3(a)(1). He was then sentenced to two years of probation. He was also ordered to avoid contact with UAW Local 890 and Xylem Corporation, to submit to DNA indexing, and to pay a $75 fine. The guilty plea and sentencing follow an investigation by the OLMS Chicago District Office.
