General Motors Invests in 5 Locations in Right to Work Michigan

General Motors will soon be making a huge difference in the economy and the lives of those in Michigan. Recently, they made the announcement that they are investing a total of $150 million across the state. This investment will go toward building new manufacturing plants in 5 different locations.

These locations will include Lansing, Flint, Lake Orion, Romulus, and Brownstown Township. $100 million will go to Lansing and $32 million will go to Flint. Then $17 million will go toward Romulus and $3.5 million toward Orion. and finally, $750,000 will go toward Brownstown Township.

And that’s not all. General Motors plans to invest up to $3.5 billion in Michigan over the next decade. This plan is expected to create 2,200 new jobs across the entire state.

For Lansing, Flint, Lake Orion, Romulus, and Brownstown Township, they can expect increased job options and a growing economy.
