Recap: An Economic Update on Right to Work Virginia

Several companies are investing soon in Right to Work Virginia. Just to name of few, Mondelez International and Skyline Fabricating are both expanding within the state. Meanwhile, Performance Food Group and Amazon are both adding new locations. Altogether, these four businesses will create 727 new jobs for the states. So this is exciting news! It also shows how Right to Work states support business and job growth.

Mondelez International:

The company, Mondelez International, is investing $122.5 million in order to expand in Right to Work Henrico County, Virginia. This will also create 80 new jobs!

Performance Food Group:

Performance Food Group is investing $80.2 million in order to add a new location in Right to Work Ashland, Virginia. This will also create 125 new jobs!

“Since the company’s founding in Richmond in 1885, Performance Food Group has called Virginia home. […] Virginia’s talented workforce and business-friendly environment will continue to fuel Performance Food Group’s plans for growth.†[…]

“Performance Food Group had a choice in where to locate. We thank the company for choosing Hanover County. […] This announcement is a prime example of the importance in the investment of site development at the local level in conjunction with the Virginia Business Ready Sites Program. The project would not have been possible without the zoning in place and Tier 4 designation provided by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.â€

Amazon:

Amazon is adding a new fulfillment center soon in Right to Work Stafford County, Virginia. This will create 500 new jobs as a result!

Skyline Fabricating:

Skyline Fabricating is expanding in Right to Work Buchanan County, Virginia with a $675,000 investment. This will also create 22 new jobs.
