Recap: Here Are the Latest Right to Work Kentucky Investments

Three companies are investing in Right to Work Kentucky. They include Jackson Purchase Distillery and Kruger Packaging, as well as Ahlstrom-Munksjö. Jackson Purchase Distillery will be expanding in Fulton County while Ahlstrom-Munksjö will be expanding in Madisonville. Meanwhile, Kruger Packaging is adding a new location in Hardin County.

Altogether, these companies will invest $192.96 million toward the state’s economy. They will also all create lots of new jobs! Read on to learn more about each company’s plans.

Jackson Purchase Distillery:

Jackson Purchase Distillery is investing $8.76 million in order to expand in Right to Work Fulton County, Kentucky. This will also create 30 new jobs!

“We are very excited about the opportunity to start producing Kentucky bourbon in Fulton County. […] We have been most fortunate to acquire the distillery and begin upgrading the facility. Support from the distillery industry and Commonwealth of Kentucky has been extremely helpful. We look forward to the start of production and hope to grow the business with a long-term plan in the years ahead.â€

Kruger Packaging:

Kruger Packaging is adding a new location in Right to Work Hardin County, Kentucky with a $114.2 million investment that will also create 150 new jobs!

Ahlstrom Munksjö is investing $70 million toward an expansion in Right to Work Madisonville, Kentucky. This will create 51 new jobs!

“The investment in this new state-of-the-art foam forming glass fiber in the U.S. is a major step in Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s global growth strategy in the glass fiber tissue market. In combination with our existing plants in Finland and Russia, this new plant will further strengthen our leadership in this field by consolidating our global position in flooring applications but also by giving us a unique platform to expand into other glass fiber tissue applications.†[…]
