Recap: Here’s an Economic Update on RTW Kentucky

There are many great things in store for Right to Work Kentucky’s economy! And these company investments are just the tip of the iceberg. Three businesses are expanding soon within the state. These are Taylor Corp, Commonwealth Rolled Products, and Pratt Industries. Meanwhile one business is adding a new location, the name of which is Universal Piping Industries.

Taylor Corp:

Taylor Corp is investing $18.8 million in order to expand in Right to Work Radcliff, Kentucky. This will create 28 new jobs!

Commonwealth Rolled Products:

Commonwealth Rolled Products is investing $167 million toward an expansion in Right to Work Lewisport, Kentucky, creating 40 new jobs!

“The aluminum rolling mill in Lewisport has been an important part of the Hancock County community for over 50 years, and the decision by Commonwealth Rolled Products to build on that existing presence is tremendous news for the workforce throughout the region. […] Once this expansion is complete, the company will employ more than 900 Kentucky residents, and I am confident that growth will continue well into the future. Thank you to the leaders at Commonwealth for continuing to grow their business in our state.†[…]

Universal Piping Industries:

Universal Piping Industries is adding a new location in Right to Work Georgetown, Kentucky, creating 25 new jobs as a result!

Pratt Industries:

Pratt Industries is investing $500 million in order to expand in Right to Work Henderson County, Kentucky, creating 321 new jobs!

[…] Our Henderson paper mill and box factory is the single biggest investment our company has ever made and will create 1,000 jobs, including American, green-collar manufacturing and construction jobs.†[…]
