Recap: Right to Work Florida, A Haven for Job Seekers

Right to Work Florida’s economy is constantly growing, and these companies are further proof of that. Four companies that are investing in the state are GenH2, COOKIES LLC, Amazon, and Conti Federal Services. All but Amazon will be locating headquarters here, creating new job opportunities for their respective areas. In fact, when combined, these four businesses will create a total of 1,340 new jobs across the state! So this is exciting news!

GenH2:

GenH2 is investing $35 million in order to locate headquarters in Right to Work Titusville, Florida. this will also create 400 new jobs!

“Our foundation and history go back to this area where many of our employees had been contractors or employees at NASA. […] This is an ideal location for us, where we are confident that we can hire the work-force we need and where we are proud to have the support of the City of Titusville, Brevard County and the State of Florida.†[…]

“The hydrogen economy is taking off faster than anyone anticipated, and is reaching a ‘tipping point,’. […] Aggressive milestones both nationally and globally are pushing growth across the landscape. In order to meet market demands, we intend to be fully operational and producing our liquid hydrogen and filling stations by 2023.â€

COOKIES LLC:

COOKIES LLC is investing $100 million in order to locate headquarters in Right to Work DeLand, Florida. This will create 400 new jobs!

“COOKIES will be redeveloping one of our largest unutilized properties in the city’s Northwest Industrial Business Park. […] The company has chosen the DeLand location as its operational hub for the state of Florida and beyond, and we couldn’t be happier to have them as part of our community. Additionally, the company will be utilizing 20 acres of undeveloped industrial property as part of its new construction plans, which includes the hiring of over 200+employees as part of their first phase.â€

As part of its Florida expansion plan, COOKIES and its family of brands is building a vertically integrated medical marijuana treatment center that will provide patients throughout the state a wide variety of high-quality products, city officials said. Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers, Florida’s official designation for vertically integrated cultivation, processing and dispensing of medical cannabis, are the only authorized outlets for medical cannabis in the state.

Amazon:

Amazon is adding a new fulfillment center in Right to Work Port St Lucie, Florida. This will also create 500 new, full-time jobs.

There is much to be celebrated today with the announcement of these jobs, along with the investment in Port St. Lucie by Amazon and developer Seefried Industrial Properties.â€

Conti Federal Service:

Conti Federal Services is relocating headquarters from New Jersey to Right to Work Orlando, Florida. This will create 40 new jobs!
