Recap: Right to Work Mississippi Welcomes More Investments

Companies are investing in Mississippi as a result of its Right to Work laws. In fact, some of the latest investments are coming from Altex Tube and Columbia Industries, as well as Dunn Utility Products. Read on in order to learn more!

Altex Tube:

Altex Tube is investing $110 million in order to add a new location in Right to Work Columbus, Mississippi. This will also create 58 new jobs!

“As a Mississippi State graduate, I’m thrilled to be relocating back to Mississippi. Altex Tube is thankful for local and state support throughout this process of building a world class HSS and mechanical tube mill in the Golden Triangle. Our new mill, supplied by MTM Spa, will utilize the latest technologies available to manufacture black and pre-galvanized steel tubing ranging in size from 1 inch to 6 inches square and 1.25 inches to 7.625 inches round, up to 48 feet in length and thicknesses ranging from .060 inches to .375 inches. Altex Tube will be built in two phases with phase one scheduled to be operating by mid-2023.†[…]

Columbia Industries:

Columbia Industries is investing $9.549 million toward a new location in Right to Work Starkville, Mississippi. This will also create 62 new jobs!

Dunn Utility Products is investing $23.3 million in order to expand in Right to Work New Albany, Mississippi. This will also create 30 new jobs!
