Recap: What Companies are Expanding in North Carolina?

Four companies are investing in Right to Work North Carolina, three of which are expanding in their current locations. Cargill will be expanding in the Fayetteville area with a $25 million investment while Berry Global is expanding in Benson with a $70 million investment. Meanwhile, Cummins is expanding in Whitakers. In addition, American Racing Headers & Exhaust is adding a new location in Stanly County.

Altogether, these will all create lots of new jobs for their respective areas. Read on to find out more about each investment!

Cargill:

“Our plant in Cumberland County is an important link in the supply chain for North Carolina farmers and livestock producers, and these investments will help us serve customers more efficiently. […] Cargill [commits] to nourishing the world in a safe, responsible, sustainable way. We are part of the community and are proud to provide significant support for a number of organizations in the area funding nutrition and education programming projects, as well as COVID-19 relief.â€

Berry Global:

“[ Berry Global has ]been here for over 50 years at this point. […] As we developed plans to expand our footprint, we considered a lot of locations, both in state and out of state. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the City of Benson and the County of Johnston for future investments in the Berry site.â€
