Rivers Plumbing and Electric Investment in Right To Work South Carolina

Rivers Plumbing and Electric Inc is investing $9.1 million toward a new location in Mullins, South Carolina. A building that once served its purpose as an American lightbulb factory is now being put back into good use by Rivers Plumbing and Electric Inc. So this will be the company’s fourth South Carolina Location.

But providing plumbing and electric services for various schools and businesses in the area isn’t the only good news about the business choosing this location. The new investment is expected to create 150 new jobs for the local people as well. High economic growth rates and plenty of new employment opportunities are abound Marion County.

As an incentive, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project. A $750,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant was also awarded to Marion County to assist with the project.

“We’re so excited and honored to be bringing this piece of Mullins’ history back to life. Our hope is to be a valuable member of this community and to continue to be a positive source of growth in the Carolinas.”
