IMG_3834-DOL-Criminal-Charges-800x

Stephen Rooze is the former secretary/treasurer for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) union in Burbank, California. And just like many other corrupt union bosses, he couldn’t keep his hands off of the union funds that were collected from hard workers. To make matters worse, he’s being indicted for not one or two or three counts, but four total counts of embezzling. It was only a matter of time before he got caught. The total amount of funds that were embezzled is estimated to be $140,064. It’s just another example of the corruption that goes on behind the scenes of forced unionism.

From the Department of Labor:

On March 12, 2021, in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, Stephen Rooze, former Secretary-Treasurer of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) Division 662 (located in Burbank, Calif.), was charged in a four-count indictment for embezzling $140,064 in union funds, in violation of 29 U.S.C. 501(c). The indictment follows an investigation by the OLMS Los Angeles District Office.
