Texas Union Boss Edward C. Davis Jr Sentenced to Prison

Edward C. Davis Jr is now the former Secretary/Treasurer for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) Division 620 in Fort Worth, Texas. After investigations done by the OLMS Dallas-New Orleans District Office, Davis pleaded guilty to charges of embezzlement on September 16, 2020. Now, he’ll be serving time in confinement, which will then be followed by a long period of supervised release.

From the Department of Labor:

“[ Edward C. Davis Jr ]was sentenced to six months of confinement and three years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $61,386 in restitution. On September 16, 2020, Davis pleaded guilty to embezzlement of union funds, in violation of 29 U.S.C. 501(c).â€DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
