What is Lockheed Martin Planning in RTW Alabama?
Lockheed Martin is adding a new facility soon on their current campus in Right to Work Huntsville, Alabama. This new building will serve as a place to focus on missile defense. In order to make this possibility come true, the company is investing a total of $16.5 million toward the project. So this is good news and will be a great addition to the area’s economy!
From Area Development Magazine:
“Lockheed Martin has had a presence in the Huntsville community since 1963, and the new facility adds to our advanced portfolio to ensure engineering rigor through ground testing and integration, validating our approach well before we flight test.†[…]
“Folks, I’ll say this. When our country needs us, Alabama is ready to answer the call,†she said at the groundbreaking event. […] Today is another great example of Alabama doing just that, and Lockheed Martin is reminding the world of Alabamians’ willingness and ability to step up to the plate.â€
