Where is Cardinal Foods Choosing to Expand?
Cardinal Foods has chosen to expand in Pender County, North Carolina! This will mean that they will be receiving the benefits of being in a Right to Work state while also increasing production and reaching more consumers! This new expansion will specifically go toward producing more yummy sweet potato fries for grocery stores. In order to make all of this possible, the company will be investing $15.5 million toward the project. In addition, the company also plans to create 48 new jobs for the area. So this will be a great addition to the economy and for sweet potato fry lovers everywhere!
