Gap Inc will soon be investing in a new Customer Experience Center in Longview, Texas. The investment will total $140 million, which will go toward building an 850,000 square foot facility. In addition, they plan to create 500 new jobs within the next couple of years. However, the good news doesn’t stop there. They plan to double that number over the next five years, bringing their employment to a total of 1,000!
Construction begins next month and should be ready for business within the year! So this is something that people in the area can certainly look forward to! It also just goes to show how Right to Work states attract new economic opportunities for its residents.
