STAR EV is expanding soon in Right to Work Simpsonville, South Carolina. This will allow the electric vehicle manufacturer to increase manufacturing here. In order to cover the cost of the new expansion, the company plans to invest over $8.7 million toward the project. But that’s not the only good part about all of this. They also plan to create new jobs! In fact, STAR EV’s expansion will create 50 new jobs for the area. So this is great news for Greeneville County’s economy! It also shows how Right to Work states encourage business expansion and job growth all at once.
