Ahlstrom-Munksjö is a company, based in Finland, that focuses on creating products from fiber. These include things such as various types of paper, fabrics, linings, and more. But what’s really important about this company is that they are investing in Right to Work Kentucky’s economy. Located in Madisonville, Ahlstrom-Munksjö plans to soon invest $70 million toward an expansion. This expansion will give them another production line, helping them increase product production. In addition, this investment will also create 51 new jobs. So this will be great for the area’s economy.

“I want to thank Ahlstrom-Munksjö for this significant commitment to Madisonville, Hopkins County and the commonwealth. This facility has long been an important part of the community. The company’s continued growth is incredible news for residents throughout the region. The creation of more than 50 high quality jobs promises a brighter future for families in the area, and positions the company for even more success in the years ahead.†
