NALC’s Kenneth Baumgarner Charged and Pleads Guilty Same Day

Kenneth Baumgarner is the President of NALC Branch 1147 in Michigan. On November 16, 2021, he was charged with embezzlement. Immediately following the charges, he pled guilty to the act. This is further evidence of the abhorrent corruption that goes on behind the scenes of unions.

From the Department of Labor:

On November 16, 2021, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, Kenneth Baumgarner, President of National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Branch 1147 (located in Grand Haven, Mich.), was charged and pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement of union funds in the amount of $6,600, in violation of 29 U.S.C. 501(c). The charge and guilty plea follow an investigation by the OLMS Detroit-Milwaukee District Office and the United States Postal Service’s Office of the Inspector General.
