Danisco US Plans Expansion in Right to Work Iowa

Danisco US is planning to expand its operations soon in Right to Work Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In order to make this possible, the company is investing a total of $68 million toward the project. They will also create 40 new jobs in the area. So this is exciting economic news!
From Area Development Magazine:
To support the project the state awarded Danisco $17.5 million in capital investment project tax benefits through the Iowa Economic Development Authority’s High Quality Jobs program. Additionally, the Cedar Rapids City Council supported the project with a decade of financial incentives, through a 50 percent declining scale exemption of the increased value generated by the project.
