GUA Union Boss Cassandra Fields Found Guilty Before a Jury
Cassandra Fields, Treasurer of GUA Local 170, was found guilty before a trial by jury of embezzling at least $1,000. It appears union bosses simply cannot be trusted.

On December 3, 2025, in the Spotsylvania County Circuit Court, Virginia, Cassandra Fields, former Treasurer of International Guards Union of America (GUA) Local 170 (located in Fredericksburg, Va.), was found guilty after a jury trial of one count of embezzlement of $1,000 or more, in violation of Section 18.2-111 of the Code of Virginia, for embezzling $8,574 from the union. The guilty verdict follows an investigation by the OLMS Washington District Office.
