Kikkoman Foods Has Great Plans in Right to Work Wisconsin

Right to Work Wisconsin Economic Update

Kikkoman Foods – you know them for their soy sauce – has plans for Right to Work Wisconsin. As a result of an $800 million investment, they will not only be expanding their current facility in Walworth but will also establish new operations in Jefferson. All in all, they will create 83 new jobs!

From Area Development Magazine:

“We have always valued Walworth for its great market access, outstanding workforce, central location for raw materials, pure water, and the open-hearted spirit of partnership of the local community. […] We chose Jefferson for those same reasons, and we look forward to expanding our footprint in Wisconsin and establishing a supply chain with increased stability in North America, Kikkoman’s largest overseas market.” […]

“Fifty years ago, Kikkoman made history by choosing Walworth, Wisconsin, for its first international brewing plant. […] Now Kikkoman is opening a new chapter in that history by expanding its presence in Walworth and Jefferson.” […]

“Kikkoman’s decision to choose Jefferson for their expansion speaks volumes about the strategic advantages and opportunities we offer. […] We’re excited to work with Kikkoman to ensure their success in our community and to maximize the positive impact of this investment.”
