Hasan Zahdeh, the President of the Michigan Union of Healthcare Workers (MUHW) had a warrant out for his arrest on December 11th, 2020. Then on January 5th, 2021, he was officially indicted. The union boss has been accused of embezzling $15,640 from union funds. These funds come from the pockets of hard-working individuals, and now they’ve been going straight into their union president’s bank account.

Hasan Zahdeh, President of Michigan Union of Healthcare Workers (MUHW), located in Muskegon, Mich., was indicted for embezzlement of union funds, in violation of 29 U.S.C. 501(c). The indictment includes a forfeiture allegation pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 981(a)(1)(C), 18 U.S.C. 982(b)(1), and 28 U.S.C. 2461(c).US Department of Labor
