NALC Union Boss Samantha Zirkle Pleads Guilty to Felony Level Theft
NALC Treasurer Samantha Zirkle pleaded guilty to a level 5 felony theft. For the crime, valued at $50,000 or more, Zirkle will pay $74,663 in restitution and serve six years of probation.

On April 20, 2026, in the Superior Court of Howard County, Indiana, Samantha Zirkle, former Treasurer of National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Branch 533 (located in Kokomo, Ind.), pleaded guilty to one count of theft, a level 5 felony, valued at $50,000 or more, in violation of Indiana Code 35-43-4-2(a)(2)(A). Zirkle was then sentenced to six years of probation and ordered to pay $74,663 in restitution. The guilty plea and sentencing follow an investigation by the OLMS Cincinnati-Cleveland District Office.
