Announced: The 2023 Applegate-Jackson-Parks Future Teacher Scholarship Winners
We are pleased to announce that two education students have been awarded Applegate-Jackson-Parks Future Teacher Scholarships from the National Institute for Labor Relations Research (NILRR.org)! It is rare for two scholarships to be awarded. However, these winners deserve the exception.
Our scholarships are awarded annually to the education student who exemplifies the dedication to principles and high professional standards of Carol Applegate, Kay Jackson, and Dr. Anne Parks.
Congratulations to Joelle Llorens and Felicia Gaston for their outstanding achievements. Winning this scholarship is a testament to their hard work and dedication. Joelle is currently attending Truman College and Felicia is attending the University of West Georgia.
It is our hope that this scholarship will help them achieve their educational goals and aspirations. We look forward to seeing what they will accomplish in the future.
