From Area Development Magazine:
“Specifically in East Tennessee — as with lots of places — electricity is a scarce resource. […] It’s getting more expensive for all of us, and any place we can take manufacturing and take demand off the grid, and allow it for other beneficial use, is good for everybody.” […]
“With strong leadership, sound infrastructure and a highly skilled workforce, Knoxville is primed to support Aqua Membranes’ second U.S. facility. We realize companies always have a choice in where they choose to invest, and we stand ready to support this company’s growth and success in the years to come.” […]
“Creating job opportunities and bringing investment to the region is fundamental to TVA’s mission of service. We are proud to partner with Knoxville Utilities Board, the Industrial Board of Knox County, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, East Tennessee Economic Development Agency, City of Knoxville, Knox County and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to further that mission and welcome Aqua Membranes to the region. We wish you success and look forward to working together to serve the Tennessee Valley.”
