Electric Last Mile Opens New Headquarters in Right to Work Michigan
Electric Last Mile has new headquarters that are now open and ready for production in Troy, Michigan. The facility totals 31,000 square feet, which serves as a customer center, technology hub, and prototype lab. In fact, they plan to put together battery packs and electric motors in the prototype lab. This will not only help fight global warming by creating parts for electric cars but will also create new jobs. The estimated number of new jobs comes to a total of 200, so this is another win for this Right to Work economy.
From Area Development Magazine:
“In addition to facilitating our growth, the design of our new global headquarters will allow for collaboration across all aspects of our engineering, from vehicle design, prototyping and software development, and customer engagement, enabling ELMS to deliver for its customers the most efficient and customized solutions for their last mile use cases.†AREA DEVELOPMENT MAGAZINE
