Lonza, a supplier for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, is expanding in Greenwood County, South Carolina. In order to do this, the company is investing $53.7 million toward the project. They also plan to create around 30 new jobs for the area. This will all take place over the next five years, so Greenwood County is looking forward to some economic advances! Overall, this will be a great addition to the economy by adding new job opportunities and money to the economy.
