Where is Highland Ventures Choosing to Relocate?

Highland Ventures is planning to relocate its headquarters soon to Right to Work Brentwood, Tennessee. The company is currently headquartered in Illinois. However, Illinois is a forced-unionism state, which is much harder on companies. Right to Work states, on the other hand, give companies the freedom to grow and expand, creating new opportunities to the economy and to workers.

In fact, this relocation will allow the company to create 80 new jobs. In order to make all of this possible, Highland Ventures is investing a total of $8.2 million toward the project. So all in all, this is exciting news for Williamson County!

From Area Development Magazine:

“The greater Nashville region is turning into a foodservice, healthcare and real estate hub that fits our growth strategy across all business lines. We are thrilled to be opening a new Highland Ventures corporate office just south of Nashville in Brentwood, Tennessee.†[…]

“With a central location and top-tier workforce, the Northern Middle Tennessee region is becoming a hotspot for companies to do business. We appreciate Highland Ventures’ investment in Williamson County and believe Brentwood will be the ideal location for their new headquarters.â€
