Former AFGE Boss Matthew Cuomo Hears Crime Sentence

Matthew Cuomo, the former president of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local 1047 in Kenner, Louisiana, was charged with and pled guilty to a forgery crime back in late September of 2020. As a result, he has now been sentenced to probation, restitution, and fees, as of April 21, 2021.
Union criminal activity is always right under our noses, but it’s just a matter of time before the corrupt teamsters get caught and have to pay for their devious actions. Matthew Cuomo is just another example of the union bosses out there who commit the crime of snatching people’s hard-earned money straight out of the union’s funds and use it for their own selfish desires.

In the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, Matthew Cuomo, former President of American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local 1047 (located in Kenner, La.), was sentenced to three years of probation. He was ordered to pay $15,000 in restitution and a $100 special assessment.
