This historic investment by these industry-leading companies will enshrine our state at the forefront of the automotive industry for years to come and create 2,000 good-paying jobs in the process. Today’s announcement further demonstrates to the world that Mississippi is a top destination for business.” […]

“It’s a win to land one world-class automotive brand, but to land three of the world’s automotive leaders and to secure this $1.9 billion economic development project serves as a remarkable testament to the power of collaboration and the state’s commitment to bringing family-sustaining, high-tech careers to the people of Mississippi. […] MDA thanks Accelera by Cummins, Daimler Trucks & Buses and PACCAR for choosing Marshall County as the location of this new battery cell production facility, and we look forward to the positive economic impacts it will have on the region and the world-changing technology it will create that will shape the future of mobility and industrial processes.”
