AFGE Boss Melissa Dickerson Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement

On October 11, 2023, in the Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Unit, Melissa Dickerson, former Secretary of American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local 2604 (located in White River Junction, Vt.), pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement, in violation of 13 VSA 2531(a). She was ordered to pay $4,188 in restitution and placed on probation for one year. Dickerson’s sentence was suspended for one year. The guilty plea and sentencing follow an investigation by the OLMS Boston-Buffalo District Office.
