ByoPlanet International Expands Facility in Right to Work Georgia

ByoPlanet International is one of the leading brands for electrostatic spray technology. ByoPlanet’s technology is used in creating disinfecting sprays – something in high demand due to the pandemic. As a result of the increased demand, the company is now expanding its current location in Athens-Clarke County, Georgia.

With a $7 million investment, they will soon be adding 35,300 square feet to their current 5,500-square-foot facility. In addition, they plan to create 250 new jobs for the area. So this will be a great economic opportunity.

From Area Development Magazine:

“ByoPlanet has been present in Athens since 2010[. W]e see the area as the ideal location for our continued growth and development. We are planning for another record year in 2021[…]”

“I want to thank ByoPlanet International and our partners in Athens-Clarke County for […] quickly ramping up production of disinfectant products critical for the fight against COVID-19, while providing jobs for Georgians who otherwise would have been furloughed. […] It makes me incredibly proud to see a company born out of the University of Georgia and deeply tied to the Classic City reinvest, grow, and create new jobs while continuing to give back to the community.”
