Globe Metallurgical Resumes Operations In Right to Work Alabama

Globe Metallurgical is a subsidiary company to Ferroglobe. Ferroglobe and Globe Metallurgical both specialize in manufacturing silicon metals. Globe Metallurgical currently has a facility in Right to Work Selma, Alabama. Now, they plan to soon restart operations here. In fact, they plan to be able to produce as much as 22,000 tons of silicon metal each year. Now that’s an incredible feat!

In addition, they also plan to create new jobs with this resumption in manufacturing. The number of jobs they plan to create will total 100 new jobs. So this is even more great news! So it’s no wonder why Selma gladly welcome the company and the jobs that come with this new economic development.
