RTW-Arkansas-NILRR

Highbar is a scrap metal recycling company, as well as a steel production company, that focuses on doing so sustainably. Now, Highbar is adding a new location just outside of Osceola, Arkansas. This is only the beginning though. After this location is up, they will soon be adding another. In order to raise the bar this high, the company is investing $500 million toward the projects. This will also create 200 new jobs.

From Area Development Magazine:

“My team and I have had great success investing billions of dollars in northeast Arkansas over the past eight years. I am pleased that after conducting a multi-state site search that we are able to make this announcement today. […] Arkansas is a great place to conduct business, especially steel business.†[…]

“Arkansas continues the momentum to become a national leader in the steel industry. […]Companies like Highbar are looking for locations where they can find a qualified workforce and low business costs while being able to get products to customers quickly and efficiently. Arkansas checks all of the boxes, and companies are taking note. I am confident we will continue to see many such investments in the future.â€
