Hitachi ABB Power Grids Upgrades Facility in Right To Work Virginia.

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is a company not unfamiliar to Bland County. Since its beginning in 1972, the company has helped businesses and people alike with their electric grid needs. Now, that’s not the only way they’re helping out the local population. In addition to electric grids, the company will soon be providing more economic growth.

Thanks to the benefits the area provides, the company is investing $6.2 million in order to upgrade its equipment and increase its workforce. Currently, the company has more than 800 workers throughout Virginia – 332 of which work for their Bland County location. So they now expect to create 40 new jobs for locals in the area.
