How are SHOWA Group and Right to Work Teaming Up Against the Pandemic?

SHOWA Group is a company based in Japan that focuses on producing nitrile gloves. Now, they will soon be expanding in Fayette, Alabama. Alabama is a Right to Work state, which gives more benefits to businesses so that businesses like SHOWA Group can grow. So now, companies like this one can expand and create more PPE to fight the pandemic. This will also create many new jobs as well!

From Area Development Magazine:

“We’re just trying to get every single glove we can out the door to fight this pandemic. […] Every day, SHOWA’s Alabama facility produces around 1 million gloves made from a hypoallergenic synthetic rubber that serves as an alternative to latex. Thanks to an expansion project now nearing completion, that figure will double.” […]

“With so many businesses suffering during the pandemic, we’re in the fortunate position to be hiring right now.” […]

“SHOWA Group has been a contributor to the Alabama economy for almost 50 years and has been a good friend and neighbor in Fayette. […] This expansion will help this Alabama plant modernize and begin production of new innovations in the disposable glove industry.”
