thredUP is one of the biggest resale clothing and apparel companies that is based online. They currently have a distribution location in Right to Work Lancaster, Texas. However, the space they currently have isn’t big enough to keep up with the demand. As a result, they are planning a major expansion here. In fact, by the time the expansion is complete, this location will be the company’s largest distribution center. In order to make all of this possible though, they are investing a total of $70 million toward the major project. But that’s not the best part. This expansion will also create 2,000 new jobs. So that’s exciting news! It’s also yet another example of how Right to Work states support business growth. This, in turn, then creates new jobs opportunities for workers.
