Hudsonville Ice Cream Expansion in Right To Work Michigan

Hudsonville Ice Cream is a creamery that had started in Hudsonville, Michigan in 1985. Since then, it’s been bringing smiles to people’s faces from all over with delicious frozen treats. Now, ice cream isn’t the only reason people are smiling with Hudsonville Ice Cream.

The company is putting a $35 million investment toward expanding its distribution headquarters located in Holland, Michigan. The expansion is already in progress and the plan is to build 160,000 square feet onto their current location. The new space will be used for cold storage and distribution to help get yummy ice cream to more states. This will also provide more job opportunities in the area. Now that’s something to smile about!

From Area Development Magazine:

“We take great pride in our ability to reinvest in our home region of West Michigan as we continue to grow the distribution of our ice cream throughout the Midwest.” […]

“This expansion allows us to streamline our innovation and product integrity and create jobs for our local economy. With this project, our ice cream will move from the manufacturing line straight to our own freezer space before it’s distributed to retailers and reaches homes in more than a dozen states.”
