Mt. Olive Pickle Company Makes More Pickles in RTW State

Mt. Olive Pickle Company is expanding soon in Right to Work Goldsboro, North Carolina. This will mean more production of the delicious pickles that the company is famous for. In order to make this expansion possible, they are investing $35 million toward the project. In addition, they will also create 167 new jobs for Wayne County. So this is exciting economic news!

“The Goldsboro expansion relieves pressures on the company’s facilities in Mount Olive and positions us to handle growth well into the future. […] We are pleased that all of our operations will remain in Wayne County.â€

As an incentive, a performance-based grant of $600,000 from the One North Carolina Fund will help with Mt. Olive’s expansion in North Carolina. The One NC Fund provides financial assistance to local governments to help attract economic investment and to create jobs. […]

[…] With a strategic plan focused on training and development, we are aligning resources that will provide the diverse workforce and talent pipeline that agribusinesses will need to continue innovating in the future.â€
