Recap: What Do Rivian, Walbro, and Blackmer Have in Common?

Well, yes, these are all short, one-word company names. They have that in common too, but the similarities between these businesses goes deeper than that. Rivian, Walbro, and Blackmer are all choosing to invest in Right to Work Michigan! As a result of the incredible benefits of Right to Work states, these companies can rest easy knowing that they are investing in a state that will support their growth for many years to come. In addition, they will also create new economic opportunities for others. In fact, when added all together, they will create a total of 190 new jobs for the state. So this is great news!

Rivian:

Rivian is adding a new location soon in Right to Work Plymouth, Michigan. This will also create 100 new jobs for people in the area.

“This center provides a base of service to our Rivian owners. This team will be the most all-around knowledgeable and most highly-trained group on Rivian vehicles. […] We will add about 15 new hires every other month throughout 2022 to ensure coverage as production ramps up. Walbro is expanding soon in Right to Work Cass City, Michigan with an $11.4 million investment. This will also create 40 new jobs!

Blackmer is expanding soon in Right to Work Grand Rapids, Michigan with a $7 million investment. This will also create 50 new jobs!
