Recap: What’s New With Right to Work Alabama’s Economy?

Companies are investing in Alabama as a result of its Right to Work laws. The most recent include Shinhwa and Novelis, as well as Airbus and Cerrowire. Altogether, these investments will create a total of 2,172 new jobs. So this is exciting news for the economy!

Shinhwa:

Shinhwa is investing $78 million in order to add a new location in Right to Work Auburn, Alabama. This will create 42 new jobs!

“This is a great example of the constant innovation and advancements in manufacturing, particularly in the automotive sector, right here in Alabama. […] With this expansion, Shinhwa will have invested over $190 million and created more than 185 well-paying jobs since choosing Auburn as their first U.S. location. Congratulations to Shinhwa on another successful expansion.†[…]

Novelis:

Novelis is investing $2.5 billion in order to add a new location in Right to Work Bay Minette, Alabama. This will create 1,000 new jobs!

Airbus is expanding soon in Right to Work Mobile, Alabama. As a result, this will create 1,000 new jobs for the area’s economy!

Cerrowire is investing $100 million in order to add a new facility in Right to Work Morgan County, Alabama. This will create 130 new jobs!
