Simmons Pet Food Has Plans for Right to Work Kansas

Simmons Pet Food is planning a major expansion soon in Right to Work Edgerton and Emporia, Kansas. In order to accomplish expansions in these two locations, the company is investing $115 million toward them. As a result, they also plan to create 177 new jobs. So this is great news for the economy!

From Area Development Magazine:

“The fourth line in Emporia will be capable of producing 60,000 pounds per hour and will expand the total annual plant output to more than 70 million cases (1.6 billion units) by early 2024.” […]

[…] The state will continue finding ways to encourage great companies like Simmons to expand and hire even more Kansans as we work to accelerate the state’s economic growth rate.” […]
