Southern Rock Energy Partners Makes $5.56 Billion RTW Oklahoma Investment

Right to Work Oklahoma Economic Update

Southern Rock Energy Partners is establishing a new crude oil refinery soon in Right to Work Cushing, Oklahoma. And that means an impressive investment of $5.56 billion in order to cover all costs. They will also be creating 423 new jobs. So this is something worth getting excited about!

From Area Development Magazine:

[…] The dedication of the professional economic development organizations of Oklahoma has made and will make our efforts to advance the energy independence of the United States, by processing domestically produced crudes into cleaner transportation fuels, a reality.†[…]

“Commerce is excited about the decision of Southern Rock Energy Partners to pursue Oklahoma for their large-scale refinery. […] As the ‘pipeline crossroads of the world,’ Cushing is the perfect location for this project. We look forward to working alongside the company and the community of Cushing to further strengthen Oklahoma’s ‘all of the above’ energy approach with the addition of this $5.5 billion facility.â€
