SPAL Automotive has plans to soon stablish US headquarters in Right to Work Ankeny, Iowa. In order to do this, the Italy-based company is investing a total of $35 million toward the project. They will also create 39 new jobs. So this will be an excellent economic addition!

From Area Development Magazine:

“SPAL joined Ankeny’s business community when our business community was in its infancy. […] Twenty years later, SPAL had chosen Ankeny again, this time as its home for manufacturing in the U.S.â€

The Ankeny City Council approved a development agreement between the city and SPAL USA that would provide the company with five years of tax-increment finance rebates of up to $1.2 million.
