IMG_3834-Enhanced-investigation-update

Trey Huffty is now the former President of the Steelworkers Local 1731 union in White Hall, Arkansas. On April 6, 2021, he was caught and charged for embezzling $37,368 from union funds. This money came from hard-working citizens’ paychecks and illegally went straight into the pockets of someone they were supposed to be able to trust. Trey Huffty knew what he had done was wrong, so it didn’t take him long to plead guilty to the abhorrent act of embezzlement of union funds.

From the Department of Labor:

Trey Huffty [….] was charged in a one-count information with embezzling union funds in the amount of $37,368, in violation of 29 U.S.C. 501(c). Huffty then pleaded guilty to the charge. The charge and guilty plea follow an investigation by the OLMS Dallas-New Orleans District Office.
